It is known for its integrated approach, processing sugarcane into sugar and utilising by-products for other products like ethanol, chemicals, and green power.DSML is also a pioneer in the sugar industry, known for its Dhampure brand of packaged, sulphur-less sugar.
The company produces various sugar products, including plantation white sugar and refined sugar sold under the brand "Dhampure Sulphurless Sugar.
Dhampur produces various chemicals, including ethyl acetate, acetic acid, and acetaldehyde. These are derived from molasses and other by-products of sugar processing.
Dhampur generates renewable power by utilising bagasse, a by-product of sugarcane crushing. Its cogeneration facilities have a combined capacity of 209 MW and can export up to 125 MW to the national grid.
